Age 72, of Monroeville, PA, passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. She was the beloved wife of 47 years to Paul Whalen; loving mother of Ashley Whalen; dear sister of Michael, Frank, Tony, and the late Walter "Butchie" Szwarc. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Julia Szwarc. Catherine was a loving mother and wife. Friends will be received on Friday, September 15, 2023, 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747).
