Bonnie J. (Shanter) Galdo

Bonnie J. Galdo, age 80, of Penn Township, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023. She was born on April 22, 1942 in Pittsburgh, to the late Rudolph and Della "Betty" (Love) Shanter. Bonnie was a licensed insurance agent with Primerica. She also had a long career working with several well-known at-home jewelry party companies which afforded her and her family the opportunity to travel all over the world. Her most rewarding job, however, was her work and volunteerism with Faith In Action. Bonnie truly enjoyed helping many people through her time there. She is survived by four loving children, Carlo A. (Lisa) Galdo, Susan Galdo, Lisa Galdo, and Stephen (Kim) Galdo; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, Nicholas (Shannon) and children Kira, Alexis, Mya, Alaya, Raegan, and Hazel, Clifford "C. Jay", Chelsea (Josh) and son Dominic, Shaina and son Jonah, Shane, Caci, Julia and son Luca, Carlo III, Zachary, Aryana, and Stephen; brother, Randy (Denise) Shanter; several in-laws, Gerardo Galdo, Paul Galdo, Giuseppina Damiano, Rosina Giordano, and Fiorita Camelia; step-mother-in-law, Guilia Galdo; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carlo Galdo; and a granddaughter, Anna Elizabeth Williams. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2023, where a funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday, March 30 at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721.
