Arthur A. Daum

Arthur A. Daum, of Monroeville, died peacefully at home on Friday, January 20, 2023 at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Nancy; daughters, Lynn Daum of Monroeville and Mary Schaab (Harry) of Greensburg; and son, Joe Daum (Jennifer) of Monroeville. He was the loving and proud grandfather of Patrick and Jake Daum. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Art was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Sarah Daum; a son, Timothy Daum; grandchildren Nancy and Michael Schaab; and siblings, Betty Ankeny, Ada Trainor, Donna Whitlam, and Walter Daum. Art graduated from Turtle Creek High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He was vice president for Beckwith Machinery in Murrysville and Delmont, retiring in 1993. He was an entrepreneur of many successful small businesses, most notably the Cloverleaf Supper Club in Delmont. Art and Nancy enjoyed lunch daily at many favorite local establishments with their grandchildren. Art was an avid golf enthusiast, frequent traveler, and enjoyed trying his luck at the casinos. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday, January 24 from 2-7 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, January 25 at St. Bernadette Church-Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
