Ann (Zubaty) Hallock, age 96 of Penn Township, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the Neighborhoods of Walden's View, North Huntingdon. She was born on September 7, 1925 in Yukon, the youngest of 9 children of the late Frank Joseph Sr. and Suzanna (Elias) Zubaty. In addition to her parents. Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank "Fritz" Hallock; a daughter, Susan Hallock; her eight older siblings; and her son-in-law, Fred Angelone. She is survived by her loving daughter, Jane Angelone; two grandchildren, Alex (wife Cassie) Angelone and Lexi Angelone; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ann had faithfully attended St. Barbara Catholic Church until her health started to decline. She had always been healthy and active; volunteering for Meals on Wheels, bowling, and cutting her grass into her seventies. She also worked for over 20 years at the Marianne Store during the Greengate Mall years. Ann and her late husband, Fritz, enjoyed traveling all over by plane, train, or automobile to Hawaii, the Twin Cities, and California, among many trips. She was a great mother and excellent grandmother. Her very kind and sweet demeanor will be sorely missed by her family. Friends will be received Thursday, April 21 from 3-6 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, where a funeral liturgy will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 22. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery - Denmark Manor. Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to the Alzheimer's Association.
