Anita Gloria (Rosso) Farruggia

Anita Gloria (Rosso) Farruggia, age 90 of Pitcairn, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021. She was born on October 18, 1931 in Wilmerding to Emilio and Adale (Troia) Rosso. Family and friends were everything to Anita. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She always said, "When people remember me, I want them to smile." She is survived by her children, Guy J. (Nancy) Farruggia, Jr., Dale R. Farruggia, Robin (Norma) Farruggia, Douglas (Robin) Farruggia, and Anita (James) Churilla; grandchildren, Madison (Tyler) Artz, Lauren (Andrew Copenhaver) Farruggia, Brian Farruggia, Benjamin Farruggia, Mollie Farruggia, Nicholas Farruggia, Jenna Farruggia, Jacob Churilla, and Steven Churilla; great-grandson, Alec. She was  preceded in death by her loving husband, Guy J. Farruggia, Sr., sister, Clara (Jack) Sands and brother, Raymond (Helen) Rosso. Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Masks will be required upon entry. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
