Agnes May Durst, 92, of Penn Township, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wed., July 4, 2018 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. She was born on August 12, 1925 in Osage, WV, to the late Andrew M. and Edna May (Landsperger) Javosky. Agnes was a longtime member of Primitive Methodist Church in Westmoreland City, where she was a Sunday School teacher for over 40 years. She had a deep love for her church and her family. She also loved to read, crochet, and collect angels. Agnes is survived by her six loving children, James C. (Mary Beth) Durst Jr. of Harrisburg, John A. (Victoria) Durst of Monroeville, Robert W. (Bonnie Jean) Durst of North Huntingdon, Karen Dianne (Ray) Cook of Leechburg, Charles E. (Alice) Durst, Sr. of Claridge with whom Agnes resided, and Richard W. (Linda Dawson) Durst of Irwin; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Durst Sr.; two grandchildren, Dean Allen and James Andrew Durst; brother, Wilbert R. Javosky; and sister, Maryanne Hare. Friends will be received Sunday July 8 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City, 724-744-2721, where funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, July 9, with Rev. Diane Wiley, officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery- Denmark Manor. Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to a charity of one's choice.
