William L. Burrell, 80, of Irwin, died on August 17, 2018 at UPMC Mercy. Born December 29, 1937 to the late Royal and Estella (Cole) Burrell. William is survived by his wife of 53 years Joanne (Boban) Burrell; daughters, Cathleen Burrell, Beth Ann (Edward) Miller, and Jennifer Burrell; grandchildren, J.W. Denis, Hannah McFarland, Sarah Soltis, Maggie McFarland, Trey Miller, and great-grandson William Denis; brother, Delmor (Sue) Burrell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and his dog, Buddy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Donald Burrell and sister, Jane Altieri. Bill and his brother Delmor are co-owners of the family business, Burrell Trailer Inc., which has been in business for over 60 years. Bill was a proud member of the 1956 Jeannette Jayhawk Championship Football Team and was also an animal lover. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 2 p.m. until the celebration of life service at 4 p.m. at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City.
