After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Toni passed on Thursday, October 4, 2018. Toni, formerly of Monroeville, PA and Forest Hills, PA, died quietly in her sleep at her home in Shawsville, VA. Her determined spirit and unwavering faith will always be admired, but never forgotten. She will be dearly missed by all those she touched. May she enjoy the peace and comfort she found in the Lord, now and forever. Toni was born in Pearisburg, VA. She was an alumnus of Cave Spring High School and West Virginia University and she received her Master’s degree from Penn State University. She was a successful business owner and entrepreneur for over twenty years, long before it was in vogue for a single woman to do so. She was an avid reader, and loved her pets. A member of the Riverside Community Church in Oakmont, PA, her faith was her rock and her family was her strength. Toni is survived by her two sons, Zachary (spouse, Jaime) Roberts, and Jacob Roberts, two grandchildren, Connor and Riley Roberts, her parents, Ben and Ponnie Shawver, a sister Kim Wilbourne and two brothers, Jeff Shawver and Kevin Shawver. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, October 19th, 5-8 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) corner of (445) Beatty Rd. and 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747). A memorial mass will be held Saturday, October 20th, 10 AM at St. Bernadette Parish. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be private in Shawsville, VA.
