Wright Rev. Dr. Richard L. age 88 of Oakmont, formerly of Morgantown, WV passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Leanna  R. (Staley) Wright. Loving father of Lanell (Lonnie) Johnson, Doug Wright, Lanita (David) Myers, and Darren (Connie) Wright; adored grandfather of Kristin Wright, Leland and Landon Johnson, Lauren and Drew Myers, and Emma and Keaton  Wright; brother of the late Rev. Karl Wright, the late Paul Wright, the late Nathalie Wright Ruggles, Mary Wright Miller, and John Wright. Rev. Dr. Richard L. Wright was a retired United Methodist Minister with 45 years of service for the West Virginia Conference. Friends and family are welcome to a visitation Friday 4-8 PM at the Ford Funeral Home, 215 E. Additional visitation for friends and family will be held Saturday 9:30 AM until an 11AM service at the Bridgeport United Methodist Church, 251 Worthington Dr., Bridgeport, WV (304) 842-6284.
