Lucy Rose Langan, cherished daughter of Robert and Christi (Friedline) Langan of Penn Township, passed away unexpectedly at 35 weeks gestation on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. Lucy Rose is loved very much and will be forever remembered by her parents and brothers, Peter and Nicholas; her grandmother, Colleen (Carson) Friedline of Delmont; grandfather, Dennis Friedline of Indiana and special friend Connie (Stuchal) Morris of Blairsville; "Pop Pop", Clarence Carson of Perryopolis; aunt and uncle, Jessica and Jeremy Szekely and their six children, Hannah (Nick), Rebekah, Logan, Violet, Alex, and Oliver, all of Derry; special great-aunt and uncle Janelle and Brad Bigam, and their family of Wilmore, KY; Godfather, Fr. Brandon Bigam of KY; great-aunt, Debby (Friedline) Green of Indiana; and many other beloved family and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Johanna Langan; great-grandparents, "Nanny" Lois Carson, and Eugene and Genevieve Friedline; and great-uncle and great-aunt, David and Diana Friedline. Lucy Rose's funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 9, 2019 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Harrison City, with Father Michael Sikon, officiating. All are invited to attend.
