John Andrew, Sr.

Age 75 of Wilkins Twp., passed away on September 26, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Elaine (Iriti) Potochnik. Loving father of Christina (Mark Hornick) O'Shell and John A. Potochnik, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Justin Robert O'Shell and Spencer Hornick; brother of Bob (Sue) Potochnik, Ed (Judy) Potochnik, and Pat (Sue) Potochnik. Preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Ann (surviving husband Pete) Dahl, Eleanor (the late Fred) Trautman and Mildred (the late Richard) Kearns. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John worked for H.J. Heinz where he retired after 33 years of dedicated service. He had a love for recreational shooting and always looked forward to spending time with his grandson at the gun range.
