James R. Zell

Zell James R. age 73 of Penn Twp, formerly of Murrysville passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 after a long, courageous battle with melanoma. Beloved husband of Elva J. (Duncan) Zell. Loving brother of Judy (George) Chilcoat; brother-in-law of Steven (Michele) Duncan and the late Loretta LaGorga and Edward H. Duncan; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. Jim was a high school graduate of Gateway and received his bachelors from West Virginia University. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. For many years, he was employed in retail management at Kmart and Lowes in Monroeville. Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) corner of (445) Beatty Rd. & 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Mass of Christian Burial at Mother of Sorrows Friday, 10 AM followed by a Presentation of Full Military Honors. Interment will be private.
