James R. O'Neil, Jr.

James R. O'Neil, Jr. 75, of Harrison City, died on  July 26, 2018.  He was born on February 4, 1943 in North Braddock, PA, to James and Ann (Quinten) O'Neil.   James is survived by his beloved wife Marjorie (Kaufman) O'Neil of 48 years; sons, Greg (Jennifer) and Brian (Jaime) O'Neil; grandchildren, Alexis Pounds, Matthew and Dylan O'Neil; sister, Donna (Paul) Owen; nephew, Paul Owen and niece, Kristy Prycl. He was preceded in death by parents, James Sr. and Ann O'Neil; grandson, Andrew O'Neil.  He was a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania and then obtained his Master's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  He worked for the Penn Hills School District for 30 years, first as a fourth grade teacher and then as a Principal.  Jim was a member of  Young at Heart.  Friends will be received  at Lindsay-Jobe Funeral Home, Inc., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 30, 2018, 11:00 am at St. Barbara Catholic Church, Harrison City, PA with Fr.
