Dorothy F. Carmichael, 97, of Level Green, passed away on May 14, 2019 at Walden's View of North Huntingdon, where she had been recently residing with her husband of 73 years, Harold C. Carmichael. She was born on January 20, 1922 in Perry Township, Clarion Co., to the late Eli and Laura (Foust) Terwilliger. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed quilting, sewing, and knitting, and gardening her flowers. In addition to her husband, Dorothy is survived by her sons, John E. (Rebecca) Carmichael of Penn Twp. and Raymond E. Carmichael of Level Green; daughter, Joanne L. (David J.) Matthews of Ligonier; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Joshua) Jenkin, Susan (Steve) Kerry, and Stephanie (Tom) Kempen; a great-grandson, Aidan Kempen; a great-granddaughter on the way in July; and a sister, June Bingaman. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings, Warren, Donald, Russell, Paul, Richard, Agnes, and Glenna. There will be no visitation.
