Gardner David E. age 64 of Murrysville, passed away at his residence on Sunday, October 21, 2018. Beloved husband of Sophia (Kutch) Gardner. Loving son of Donald and V. Jean Gardner; adored father of Sarah (Thaddeus) Kennedy; blessed "Duke" of Nora and Olen Kennedy; brother of the late Jeffrey Gardner. Davie was a retired boilermaker in Local #154 with 35 years of service. He enjoyed boating, golf, and Pittsburgh sports. He loved spending time on the water with his family, friends and his First Mate, Nora Jean on the Elk River in the Elkmore Community of Maryland. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 PM and Thursday 9:30-10:30 AM at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) corner of (445) Beatty Rd. & 48 North, Monroeville (412-856-4747), where a blessing service will be Thursday, 10:30 AM. Interment will be private.
