Margaret "Peggy" Louise Montemurro Stape, 84 of Harrison City, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Monday, March 11, 2024. Peggy was born in Greensburg, PA on February 8, 1940, where she later met and married the love of her life, Harry Stape, and cherished for 56 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Stape, her oldest son Barry Stape, her great-granddaughter Kaeleigh Beregi, her sister Patricia George, and her brother James Montemurro. She is survived by her sister Emily Cline, her children Lillian Kisner and husband Dennis, daughter Anita Kuzin, daughter Patricia McDaniel and son James Stape and his spouse Anthony Lyons, son David Stape and wife Michelle, daughter-in-law Janie Stape; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. A funeral service will not be held as per Peggy's wishes. The family would like to extend their appreciation and love from all the help from Redstone Hospice; Brenda, Jill and Renee were Peggy's angels in the end.
